The November art show at the Senior Center is entitled “Honoring Our Ancestors.” The show, which will explore the many places that Orcasians come from, as well as Orcas ancestors of current residents, will be hung Oct. 30 through Nov. 24.

The Senior Center’s Visual Arts Committee is seeking month-long loans of pre-1940 family photos, newspaper clippings, and other artifacts such as quilts or teapots, for the show. Any written information accompanying the memorabilia is welcomed. All photos or other loans must have the owner’s name and telephone number attached. Loans will be kept in the Lundeen Room in a locked display cabinet.

Donors may drop off loans at the front desk Tuesday through Friday from 9 to 4 p.m. Items may be picked up after the show on Nov. 24 from 2-4 p.m.
