Organizers invite the community to the second annual seed and plant exchange to be held at the West Sound Community Hall on Feb. 13, at 2 p.m.

Encouraged to attend are: those with extra seed or plants/bulbs/tubers/etc. to share; those with nothing to exchange who want to acquire seed/plant material and knowledge; and anyone knowledgeable or interested in seed saving.

Donations to the swap should be dropped off by 2 p.m. Seed/plant containers should be labeled and note either “purchased” or “saved.” Introductions and swapping etiquette will be shared at 2:30 p.m., and from 3-5 p.m. will be an open exchange and networking time.

Sponsors of the event include Baker Creek Seed Co., Seed Savers Exchange, Southern Exposure Seeds and West Sound Community Club.
