Spring is in full swing and that means Salmonberry School’s annual Preschool and Kindergarten Open House is coming up.
On Sunday, May 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the early childhood classroom will be open for visitors. Lead Teacher Linda Ellsworth and Program Director Paul Freedman will be available to answer questions and tour families through the school. Children will be welcome to engage in simple craft activities, play in the playground, and enjoy a snack and visit with Ricky, the resident chameleon.
Salmonberry is currently enrolling 3 to 6 year olds for the Fall of 2010. Its early childhood program offers a holistic learning experience that nurtures the intellectual and imaginative capabilities of each child. The school provides an experientially rich environment in which confidence, compassion, and responsibility are strengthened through cooperative community learning.
