Trent England, Director of Constitutional Studies at the Freedom Foundation, will lead a “Rule of Law and Liberty” class at the Eastsound fire station on Saturday, Oct. 22.

” ‘What gives you the right…?’ That’s a good question,” organizers say. “Find out what your rights are and how to defend them at this encore program in Freedom Foundation’s Rule of Law and Liberty class series. Included will be a look into the Bill of Rights and beyond, discovering the difference between natural rights and civil rights, and a breakdown of modern Supreme Court rulings to find the source of today’s rights confusion.”

The class will run from 9 a.m. to noon. All are welcome. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students by advance registration, or $15 per person at the door.

England will also speak at a dinner at the American Legion that evening at 5:30 p.m. Admission to the dinner is by donation.
