The San Juan County Lead Entity is requesting project proposals for the San Juan Islands for the Salmon Recovery Funding Board.

The funding board administers grant programs for protection and/or restoration of salmon habitat, and supports assessments for future projects.

Grants are awarded based on a public, competitive process, which weighs the merits of proposed projects against program criteria.

Private citizens, non-profit organizations, local, state, and tribal governments, and special districts may apply for funding for salmon recovery projects in the San Juan Water Resource Inventory Area.
