Orcas Island and San Diego resident Parker Quinn graduated from the United States Air Force Academy on May 28.  He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant.

Parker is the son of Jeff and Mary Mudd Quinn. He is the brother of Orcas Islander Madisson Quinn and the nephew of Jim and John Mudd. He graduated in the top 20 percent of his class with a major in economics and a minor in Chinese.

Lieutenant Quinn will be stationed at Scott Air Force Base near St. Louis where he will work as an operational analyst.

He will spend part of his summer on Orcas before reporting for duty.
