Quality reading time with dad – and mom

Orcas dads gathered at the library on Nov. 11 to read books to a crowd of pajama-clad kids.

The pajama storytime event was part of Orcas Island’s celebration of National Family Literacy month,

coordinated by Orcas Family Connections and the Orcas Island Public Library.

There were 26 kids and 22 parents in attendance, including 10 dads who read.
