The next PTSA meeting is Wednesday, May 13, 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the school library. The focus topic will be “Sex Education in the School: What is Taught and When?” The group will hear from school administration, teachers and counselors on the focus topic – with plenty of opportunity for questions and comments.

Also on the agenda will be selection of the parent representatives to the newly forming Orcas School Site Council. At this week’s formation meeting, the PTSA was authorized to select four parents – four from the general school population and one from OASIS/ALE – to comprise the parent representation on the site council.

As always, childcare will be provided.
