There will be a parade celebrating the State Champion Orcas High School Lady Vikings soccer team, and their recent achievement, beginning at the school at 12:30 on Tuesday, Nov. 24. Before the parade, there will be an assembly in the high school gym at noon, where the team and coaches will be introduced, and some video highlights of their experience at state will be shown. Everyone is welcome to attend the assembly.

Orcas Island School District Superintendent Barbara Kline said,

“We planned it during lunch hour so that the community and parents could come — all are welcome.”
