Lopez Island school officials have been notified that they have been awarded a grant from Lowe’s Home Improvement Stores in the amount of $3,600 toward further development of their food gardens.
At the May 19 Annual Membership Orcas Island Prevention Partnership (OIPP) honored the work of Orcas Island community organizations for their contributions to a safe and healthy community free of substance abuse.
