The Orcas Senior Center is once again offering tax preparation for low to moderate income taxpayers. The service is being offered on Tuesdays through April 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The service has normally been supported by AARP but due to a change within AARP, it will be provided through Jim Biddick.

There is a $4 cost to cover the price of materials; any money collected above the costs will be donated to the senior center. Biddick has been providing this service through the IRS/Vita and AARP/TCE programs for more than 25 years. He has completed the required IRS Link and Learn programs for the 2009 tax year.

Appointments can be made by calling the senior center at 376-2677. Walk-ins are welcome as time permits.
