The Orcas Island Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is hosting a talk by David Schermerhorn, of Deer Harbor, about his recent experiences in Gaza on Sunday, Jan. 25 during the 11 a.m. service at the West Sound Community Hall.

The talk is open to all and there is no charge.

Schermerhorn helped bring medical supplies to the Gazans. Last August, he sailed from Cyprus aboard the Free Gaza accompanied by a second vessel, Liberty. The vessels were the first to break the siege imposed on Gaza in a number of years.
