Orcas Library presents award-winning author William Dietrich

William Dietrich is a Washington native, best selling author, and journalist currently writing for the Seattle Times Sunday magazine, “Pacific Northwest.” He has been awarded the Pulitzer Prize for his writing. He is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at Western Washington University in Bellingham.

The public is invited to meet Dietrich on Wednesday, June 11 at 5:30 p.m. in the library meeting room. Dietrich’s new book “The Rosetta Key” is a sequel to 2007’s “Napoleon’s Pyramids,” and will be available for purchase and signing.

In addition to these books, Mr. Dietrich’s other titles include: “Ice Riech,” “Getting Back,” “Dark Winter,” “The Scourge of God,” “The Final Forest: the Battle for the Last Great Trees of the Pacific Northwest,” “Natural Grace,” and “Northwest Passage: the Great Columbia River.”
