The Orcas Food Co-op was named Orcas Island Fire and Rescue’s “Citizen of the Year,” for their “commitment to the health and well-being of the Orcas Island Community through prioritizing CPR and First Aid training for staff in their first year of operation.” Assistant Manager Madden Surbaugh spearheaded the initiative.
