Orcas Fire and Rescue will display at Orcas Center in June

Orcas Island Fire and Rescue will present an informational display for the public at the Orcas Center Lobby Gallery during the month of June. The focus of the display is a review of the past five years and the achievement of the strategic plan that was adopted in 2005. The display opens June 3 with a reception at the Orcas Center from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Fire department members will be on hand to answer questions and to demonstrate equipment and apparatus. Samples of healthy dishes representing tenets of the Wellness Program will also be on display.
