Orcas Fire & Rescue responded to one alarm activation during the first week of May.

A two-vehicle crash near Country Corner sent one patient to St. Josephs and the other to Orcas Island Medical Center. Of the five patients transported by AirLift Northwest, two required the set-up of remote landing zones. Two stroke emergencies were part of the response log.
