On April 12, 2021 at 2:30 a.m. An Orcas Fire and EMS paramedic, while in route to another call, came upon a motorcycle accident in the 1000 block of Crow Valley Road on April 12 at 2:30 a.m.

The motorcycle rider appeared to have lost control of his bike, left the roadway and struck a fence. The time of the accident is unknown, and the rider was pronounced dead on the scene. An accident investigation is being conducted to determine the speed prior to the accident. The name of the rider is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
