Brad Warren, a 43-year-old Orcas man, fell 20 feet when scaffolding broke on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at a construction site at 955 Diamond Hill Road near White Beach on Orcas.

After being treated at St. Joseph’s Hospital, he is now at home with his wife and children recovering from his injuries.

“He is a strong willed man who is hard to keep down because he takes such pride in the work he does providing for his family. The doctor has told us to just take it one week at a time,” said his wife Suzanne.

“My two children and I are taking care of him as best we can, hoping there will be no permanent damages to his body,” she continued.

“I am hoping this accident will not force our family to have to relocate because of finances.”
