Children's House Infant and Toddler Center took their smallest toddling ones - the "Sweet Peas" and the "Honey Bees" - on a walking and wagon-riding field trip to the Eastsound Fire Station last week. The children were just as excited about the station's fish tank as they were about the fire engines. After a tour led by fire captain Maxx Jones, they were boosted up to take turns at the steering wheel and given red plastic "fire hats" as take-home souvenirs.
