“Welcoming and Designing Roses in Your Garden” will be presented by Nita-Jo Rountree during the Garden Club’s meeting on Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. in the Madrona Room of Orcas Center.

Using garden-design principles, she teach how to successfully incorporate a variety of roses into mixed beds and landscapes  Prior to relocating to the Northwest, she began her garden design in Atlanta, Ga. She has had her Bellevue garden featured on HGTV’s “Gardening by the Yard.”
