The Orcas Island Kings tackle football team is holding a raffle for an official NFL Jersey signed by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith.

Orcas Island resident Tommy Brasher, who is the defensive line coach for the Chiefs, has also donated a signed NFL cap. The NFL has recorded a special about Brasher that will be airing sometime this year. Tickets will be sold outside of Island Market on August 20, 21 and 28 and Sept. 3 and 4 with the drawing on Sept. 4 at 3 p.m. All proceeds go to league fees, equipment purchase, scholarships, and transportation costs.

“Please come out and support our local youth football team who in three to four years will be our Vikings players,” say organizers.
