Island Market has approved a $5,000 disbursement of its donor-advised fund to the Orcas Community Resource Center to help them support their efforts in combating Covid19. These funds will be to give them more capacity to support at-risk community members.

The donor-advised fund is the net proceeds of the money Island Market collects for each grocery bag and is held at the Orcas Island Community Foundation. The donor-advised fund is designed to support critical needs within the community.

Orcas Community Resource Center is a hub that connects Orcas Islanders with resources that can help housing, healthcare, family support and more.
