Drivers and passengers should anticipate heavier than normal Washington State Ferry traffic over the Mother’s Day weekend beginning Friday, May 9 through Sunday, May 11. Drivers are advised to use caution due to the increase in vehicle and passenger traffic at the terminals and to watch for directions from traffic attendants and vessel crew.

On May 8 and May 9, there will be additional service to help transport customers expected for the busy weekend. Vehicle drivers and walk-on passengers can board an unscheduled 1:50 p.m. departure from Anacortes to Friday Harbor each day.
