Emmanuel Episcopal Church will host the next Dinner Kitchen on Thursday, Aug. 26.

Dinner Kitchens are held on the fourth Thursday of each month from 5 to 7 p.m. in the church Parish Hall.

This month the dinner will feature barbequed salmon and chicken, side dishes, and desserts. There will be something for everyone, including vegetarians and kids, too.

The motto of the Dinner Kitchen is “Groceries at the Food Bank … Dinner in the Kitchen.”

“It is part of our effort to help support Food Bank clients and meet some of the needs of the community with good food, fellowship and fun,” says Tom Murdock, dinner organizer.
