An early morning crash near the Solid Waste and Recycling Center on Orcas tied up traffic and kept some early morning drivers from making the 7 a.m. ferry. A woman’s car hit a patch of ice and overturned, according to Chief Mike Harris of the Orcas Island Fire Department. The woman was uninjured.

“Everything went right for her,” Harris said. “She was wearing her seatbelts and her airbags deployed.”
