Dr. Richard Fadem is presenting a class on “Dante’s Inferno,” in the Mark Musa translation, Penguin (available at Darvill’s). The class meets Thursdays from 10 to 12:30 p.m. at the Orcas Senior Center beginning March 24 and will continue for seven meetings.

The charge is $25 and covers the cost of renting the space with, it’s hoped, some surplus for the English program at Orcas High School. There’s about a half-hour break; no attendance, no essays, no exams, no grades.
