Discussion about teen drug use on Orcas

Beth Kozubik Jenson, a local therapist and parent, is leading a discussion at the Eastsound Fire Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. It is going to be a group brainstorm on how to reduce teen drug use on Orcas Island, using a four-directional push. Representatives from the high school, medical center and teen activity directors will all be there.

“We invite all parents of teens, tweens, and soon-to-be tweens, local folks, school administration, medical and law professionals, and activity facilitators to come and join the discussion,” Jenson said.
