Funeral Services for Dana Mullan were held

Saturday, Oct. 18 at Orcas Island Community Church.

A Graveside Service at Olga Cemetery immediately followed the service, after which a reception was held at the Olga Community Center.

In 1951, Bonneville Power Administration engineers completed the installation of a 7.5-mile, 25,000-volt submarine power cable connecting Anacortes to Decatur Island, which was the world’s longest underwater power line at that time.
