After 20 years of leading the Sunday Circle in Celebration of the Spirit, Francis Racey has retired.

Once a week, Racey led a group of people at the Deer Harbor Community Club. Although things changed a bit over the years, toning and chanting together, prayer, and usually a spontaneous talk kept people stimulated. Attendees says Racey fulfilled many spiritual needs.

Several people are missing the fellowship and wisdom that was shared at the spiritual meetings. Although they say it can never be the same, it is possible to plan a service for at least several Sundays each month. Come to the West Sound Community Center on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 11 a.m. to discuss the possibilities.
