Once each year the organizations that serve the island’s children come together on the Eastsound Village Green to celebrate with the children and parents of the island.

This year Children’s House will sponsor Dad’s Diner, serving delicious hamburgers and hot dogs with all organic meat and produce donated by Island Market. Children’s House will also be making and selling Flower Garlands to wear.

Orcas Montessori will have an old-fashioned cake walk. There will be “Storytime Under the Trees” for all the little ones. There will also be a “room” for nursing moms and babies.

Proceeds from non-profit booths will benefit participating children’s organizations. To participate or get more information call 376-4744 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
