Chamber of Commerce brings back annual meeting

The Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual member meeting in the Orcas Center Madrona Room on Saturday, March 30, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Current, former and prospective Chamber members are invited to attend this excellent opportunity to meet as the Chamber recaps its 2023 operations, shares information around the current business climate and economic trends on the island, and previews its 2024 plans to support member businesses.

The night’s festivities will also include a Spring-inspired menu of heavy hors d’oeuvres and sweet treats highlighting fresh local ingredients by Chef Amanda Zimlich of Otters Pond B&B; hand-crafted cocktails by Devon Dennis, bar director at Monti, with wine provided by Country Corner and beer from Island Hoppin’ Brewery. All while being entertained by island favorites The Dustbunnies!

On Orcas, supporting local business and building community go hand-in-hand and the Chamber is proud that its mission emphasizes working to safeguard and improve the quality of life for islanders.

The Chamber is eager to share its plan to support local businesses in a way as unique as our island home as it reveals the theme for its work this year: but first, Orcas.
