Orcas Elementary School was the recipient of a generous donation of 25 Chromebooks from an anonymous donor. The elementary students are using the classroom set to learn keyboarding skills, research topics, write papers and responses, and take quizzes. Pictured here are Marny Gaylord’s third grade class taking a reading assessment.
“The use of technology is at the forefront of the newly adopted Common Core State Standards, so our generous donor is helping to ensure that our students will be ready to meet the demands of the future. Thanks for making a difference!” say school representatives.
