Thanks to the support of Bilbo’s Mexican Restaurant, Chasanoff’s first and second grade families are working to send their children to the Seattle Aquarium and actually spend the night there. Two of the aquarium’s teachers will be on hand to educate students about the wonders they will experience.

Bilbo’s partner Sara Kissel says, “We are committed to the education of our island’s students and are pleased to donate all of our net proceeds on April 29 to the first and second grade class for their fieldtrip.”

To support the trip, patrons are asked to come to Bilbo’s between 5 and 9 p.m. and eat dinner. No reservations are required. First grade parents will serve guests from Bilbo’s menu.

“This is an incredible opportunity for our children, as well as our community members,” explains Mathew Chasanoff, first/second grade teacher. “People can have a great dinner out and support our children at the same time.”

For more information about the dinner or the field trip, call Bilbo’s at 4728 or Angie Barrick at 376-2908 or Matthew Chasanoff at 376-2286.
