A free class to help families budget their money is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Orcas Senior Center. Dinner and child care will be provided.

Learn how to save even in tight times, get creative with your resources and fine tune your dollars to benefit your family. Learn about local resources that might assist you through the challenging times.

To prepare, keep a record of what you are spending your money on for one week and how much you are spending for all bills for a month.
