The Writer’s Roundtable scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Library will discuss “ Writing Creative Non-Fiction: Turning Real Life into Art.”

The personal essay, memoir, lyric essay, personal reportage offer writers an opportunity to transform actual experience into art that will have meaning for others, says Roundtable moderator JoEllen Moldoff.

“At this month’s Writer’s Roundtable we will look at some short essays as examples of how creative non-fiction works, and discuss ways to get started with your particular stories and memories.”

There will be time for conversation and sharing work in progress (any genre). Writers of all genres and levels are welcome.
