‘Werther’ to stream

Richard Eyre, whose hit production of Bizet’s “Carmen” remains the most popular broadcast since the series’ inception, directs this production of “Werther” which stars Jonas Kaufmann and features French mezzo-soprano Sophie Koch in her highly-anticipated Met debut as Charlotte, the object of Werther’s unrequited love.

The run time is three hours with one intermission. Tickets are $18, $13 for students, $2 off for Orcas Center members, and may be purchased at www.orcascenter.org or by calling 376-2281 ext. 1 or visiting the Orcas Center Box Office open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from noon to 4 p.m.
