“A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…”

Luke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire’s world-destroying battle-station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the evil Darth Vader in this original and first “Star Wars” film released in 1977.

On Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m., Sea View theatre is hosting a fundraiser and kick-off event for “Star Wars” fans. Come watch the original 1977 version of the movie where it all started then join them this weekend for “Rogue One,” the most recent in the series. There will be prizes for the best costume.

All proceeds from donations will benefit the Sea View Theatre building restoration fund (new furnace).
