A free public talk with Buddhist Monk Kelsang Norbu, “The Secret Lives of Happy People,” will take place Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Orcas Island Public Library.

Norbu, resident teacher at the Dharmakirti Buddhist Center in Bellingham, says, “By changing the way we view ourselves, other people, and the world around us, we can change our life, finding an inexhaustible source of happiness within our own mind.”
