Stewardship network looking for nominees

The Stewardship Network is accepting nominations for individuals, families, teachers and businesses that have made a significant impact on the conservation, preservation, and protection of the San Juan Archipelago.

Nominations in the following categories need to be submitted by March 27: Shoreline Stewardship, Farmland Stewardship, Woodland Stewardship, Village Stewardship, Business Stewardship, Individual Stewardship, Youth Stewardship and Educator Stewardship.

The new award guidelines and an online nomination section are at www.stewardshipsjc.org/.

Award recipients will be recognized at the Sustainable San Juans 2009 Conservation Summit: “Greening your Home, Business and Food” at the Friday Harbor High School on Saturday, April 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
