The Healing Arts Center is celebrating 30 years of being a nonprofit home for alternative health services to the island community, and bi-annual Healing Arts Fairs have been a part of their outreach since 1988.

This year’s Spring Healing Arts Fair is coming up on the weekend of May 5–6, 2018. All are invited to sample the many offerings of their practitioners, at greatly discounted fees. Among these are several massage therapists, an acupuncturist, an herbalist, a nurse practitioner, and a counselor offering shamanic counseling. In addition, a Saturday afternoon “Snack Attack” class, only $15 by pre-registration, will offer advice on healthy snacking.

These fairs help the HAC maintain their historic Eastsound building; all practitioners donate their services to the non-profit. This season, a portion of the proceeds will fund the SOS outreach program, which works with partner organizations to provide low-cost services where most needed.
