At San Juan County Senior Services, we help seniors remain independent and in their own homes for as long as possible. We collaborate with the local independent nonprofit senior centers, the Meals on Wheels and More program, and other community service providers to facilitate senior services in the community. Some of our services are:
• Family caregiver support – Support for unpaid family and friend caregivers. Ask about our support groups!
• Case coordination – Individual case coordination, including determining eligibility for services.
• Community lunches – In-person lunches at local senior centers.
• Home-delivered meals – Delivered meals to eligible homebound seniors and their unpaid caregivers.
• Educational classes – Evidence-based training programs and distribution of resource materials.
• Monthly newsletters – Call us to sign up for your island’s “Senior Signal.” Every month, you will find helpful articles, local events, in-person lunch menus and even more resources. You can get the newsletter by email or have it mailed to you.
• Information and assistance – Information, assistance and referrals to programs and services.
