Warm up for Valentine’s Day with a sizzling hot salsa dance party on Friday, Feb. 12 from 7 to 10 p.m.

The event is a fundraiser for the School of the Salish Sea.

The night will begin with a 45-minute salsa class taught by Orcas Island’s own salsa dancers Maria Bullock and Learner. Children are welcome, as there will be dancing and activities for them too. Dancers can also indulge in a sweet and savory bake sale.

The School of the Salish Sea is located in the Tracy Strong Lodge at Camp Orkila. There is parking at Orkila’s main parking lot and a shuttle service to the lodge. There is limited parking at the school for those who need it. Follow the lights and signs to the school.
