YMCA Camp Orkila, in partnership with the Funhouse, will continue to offer Spanish and English language classes for adults. The next session for both classes will be on Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. and begin Jan. 9.

Orkila is happy to provide this wonderful opportunity to learn and practice a second language. Our experienced crew of teachers includes Wendy Vallejos, Andy Rivera, Haley Cruz Winchell and Pamela Jimenez. With the help of a group of high school students, we are able to provide free childcare during class. Orkila has also been hosting quarterly language mixer dinners, providing a free meal and space to practice. The next dinner will occur near the end of March; stay tuned for details.
