Orcas School wants your feedback

In an effort to improve the learning environment of the Orcas Island public schools, the Site Council, representing the Orcas Island Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, is gathering data from parents, guardians, community members, school staff, and students.

The Site Council has developed online surveys for elementary, middle, and high school students and their parents, school staff, and community members who would like to answer questions about the district’s programs, teachers, and more. All submissions are anonymous.

For those who don’t want to take a survey online, hard copy versions are available at the elementary and high school offices.

School staff and students will be taking their surveys during arranged times in the next few weeks at the school.

There are three kinds of questionnaires at the Orcas School website (orcasislandschools.org) utilizing the link “Orcas Island Schools (Elementary, Middle and High) Site Council Surveys”: one for parents and guardians, community members, and a general comment survey.

Surveys need to be completed during the month of March. The Site Council will analyze the results and present its findings to the school district.
