Orcas Island Senior Center presents ‘Worlds of Color,’ May 5 through June

Submitted by Gail Anderson-Toombs, Susan Slapin.

Gail Anderson-Toombs is a longtime, grateful resident of Orcas Island, a self taught artist and art teacher, from an artistic family that goes generations backward and forward! Her acrylic paintings are colorful, imaginative and fun, often with costume or vintage jewelry in them.

Her work is light and happy to hopefully bring a smile to your face! To see more of Anderson-Toombs’ work, email laughingcatdesigns@yahoo.com.

Susan Slapin is a longtime Orcas Island resident. A visual artist: painter, poet, author and art creativity coach/mentor. In love with color, texture, and light, sensory aspects inherent in the world of nature and beauty. Painting mediums include soft pastels and mixed media acrylics, and yes – grateful for it all!
