Sabina Smith-Moreland, a senior at Orcas High School, auditioned for and has been selected as a dancer in an Afro-Brazilian dance by Seattle choreographer Dora Oliveira, to be performed in Seattle Theater Groups’s Dance This! production at Seattle’s Moore Theatre on July 8 and 9, 2011.

Smith-Moreland has appeared in numerous Orcas productions including Orcas Center’s “The Fantastiks!,” “Beauty and The Beast,” Island Inspiration All Stars 2006 – 2009 Dance Productions, and more. She has attended STG’s DANCE This 2009 – 2010 Camps and 2010 Intensive.

She will be attending Hampshire College in Amherst, Mass. this fall to study dance and psychology.
