“Orcas Eyes” show features amateur and professional photographers

The Orcas Island Camera Club is putting on its annual show at Orcas Center through September.

This third camera club show is entitled “Orcas Eyes.”

“Orcas has a thriving community of amateur and professional photographers,” say organizers. “This show is an opportunity for this enthusiastic group to show their work to the community.”

There will be photographs shown throughout the lobby and Madrona room. The show opens with a reception on Friday, Sept. 3 starting at 5:30 p.m. at Orcas Center.

The show can be seen through the end of September during normal Orcas Center open hours and during live performances at the center.

The Orcas Island Camera Club is a place where photographers of all levels of experience can get together to share their passion. Anyone interested in photography is invited to attend one of the meetings. They are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Orcas Senior Center.
