San Juan County Department of Community Development will hold a Comprehensive Plan Community Workshop from 5:30–7 p.m. on October 10 at the Eastsound Fire Station.
The workshop is designed to take an hour and a half, with 45 minutes for an electronic polling session and 45 minutes dedicated to a small group work session. You will have the opportunity to provide input on policy issues that will guide the County through 2036. Discussion topics will include:
- Housing
- Transportation
- Land Use
- Water Resources
- Economic Development
This is the second of five community workshops DCD will be holding. The other community workshops are on San Juan on Oct. 18; Shaw on Oct. 26; and tentatively, Waldron on Nov. 8. The Lopez workshop was already held on Sept. 27.
