Haitian artwork by the Tambour Creole Artist’ Cooperative will be on display at an Orcas Island art sale to benefit Helping Hands Noramise, from Monday, August 23 to Sunday, August 29.

Rosedanie Cadet, who founded the non-profit organization, collected the artwork during her several recent trips to Limbe’, Haiti.

Team Noramise invites the community to enjoy the show. The final day of the show, Sunday, August 29, will offer additional art and live music by local artists and musicians, face-painting, and a live auction for any unsold art.

The show will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and take place at Millie’s Antiques & Collectibles on Prune Alley, adjacent to The Kitchen.

All proceeds will go to Noramise and its mission of creating sustainable intentional local industries in Haiti.

“We welcome you to share in this island-to-island event,” organizers say.
