The plants were selected and ordered last summer from the conservation district and include Alaska yellow cedar, shore pine, deer fern, evergreen huckleberry, kinnikinnik, red flowering currant, serviceberry and vine maple among many others.  The plants are one to two years old, either bare-root or plugs, are conservation stock and are typically sold in bundles of five plants. They range from 8 inches to 36 inches in height and cost from $3.75 to $11 per plug or bundle.
